KPIT Associate Engineer 2027 (Phase 2): Check If Your College Is Eligible
KPIT Associate Engineer 2027 (Phase 2): Check If Your College Is Eligible Before You Spend Time on This
Overview
Deadline: 11 October 2026, 8:00 PM. If you are reading this on 10 October, you have roughly a day. So this post skips the long introduction and goes straight to the thing that decides everything: whether this opening is even open to you.
💼Why This One Is Different From a Normal Job Alert
Most listings we cover are open to anyone: click apply, fill a form, done. This is not one of those. KPIT Technologies is hiring for Associate Engineer 2027 (Phase 2) through Superset, a platform that colleges use to run campus placements. That has two consequences:
It is college-based. The profile is opened only for specific colleges. A friend at another college may see it and you may not, or the other way around.
It is batch-based. The batch allowed is the 2027 pass-out batch. Anything else, whether 2025, 2026 or 2028, is not eligible for this particular drive.
So the useful question here is not “is KPIT a good company?” but “does Superset let me through?” Answer that first.
✅The 2-Minute Eligibility Check
After you register and log in, Superset shows an eligibility checklist for the job profile. In the example we looked at, it listed these items, each with a green tick or a red cross:
Check
What it means for you
Backlogs
Whether your backlog status fits the company’s rule
Allowed Student Categories
Whether your student category is accepted
Major Eligibility
Whether your branch or degree is on the allowed list
Allowed Batches
Whether your passing-out year matches (here: 2027)
Academic Eligibility
Whether your marks or CGPA meet the cutoff
Other Restrictions
Any extra conditions, which can be “None”
Opened for college
Whether your college has been given access to this profile
In the example we saw, five checks passed and two failed: Allowed Batches and Opened for college. That is a good illustration of how this works. The profile can look perfectly suitable on paper, yet one or two red crosses close the door.
✅How to Read the Result
All green ticks: you can apply. Do it today, not tomorrow, since the deadline is close.
Red cross on Allowed Batches: this drive is for 2027 pass-outs only. Nothing you can change here, so look for drives matching your own batch.
Red cross on Opened for college: your college has not been given this profile. Your placement cell controls this, not you. If you think your college should have it, the next section covers what to do.
Red cross on Backlogs, Major or Academic: the company’s rules are not met. These are usually fixed rules, so it is better to know now than after preparing.
One practical note: the checker tells you where you stand before you invest hours in preparation. That alone makes it worth the two minutes.
✅If It Says "Not Open for Your College"
This is the most common frustration with campus-based postings, and it is worth being realistic about it:
Contact your placement cell or training and placement officer and ask whether KPIT’s 2027 Phase 2 drive has been opened for your college, or whether it will be.
Do not assume an error on your side. Access is granted by the college admin or the company, so there is no setting you can change yourself.
Do not try workarounds such as registering with a different college’s details. It is the kind of thing that gets applications rejected and can cause trouble later.
Keep an eye on later phases. The “Phase 2” in the title suggests there was an earlier phase, and companies often run further rounds.
KPIT Technologies is headquartered in Pune and is known for software and engineering work in the automotive and mobility space. If you are interested in software that ends up inside vehicles, this is a relevant name. Beyond that, we are not going to guess.
What We Do Not Know Yet (and Will Not Pretend To)
The page we have only confirms the company, the role title (Associate Engineer 2027, Phase 2), the deadline and the eligibility checker. It does not show:
Salary or package
Job location
Selection rounds or test format
Required skills or the exact branches allowed
Any bond or service agreement
These details usually appear inside Superset once you are logged in and viewing the job profile, or through your placement cell. Read that page fully before you apply, and if a service agreement is mentioned, read its terms carefully before accepting anything.
✅Quick Checklist Before 8 PM Tomorrow
Open the Superset link and register or log in.
Run through the eligibility checklist and note any red crosses.
If everything is green, read the full job profile for rounds, location and package.
Make sure your resume and academic details on Superset are accurate and up to date. The platform uses what you enter.
Apply well before the deadline. Platforms tend to slow down in the last hours.
If you are blocked on “Opened for college”, message your placement cell today.
✅Questions Students Are Likely to Ask
I am a 2026 graduate. Can I apply? Not for this drive. The allowed batch is the 2027 pass-out batch.
I am in 2027 but my college is not eligible. Can I still apply? Not through this profile, since the college-level access is what the checker enforces. Talk to your placement cell.
Is this a fresher job or an internship? The listing says “Associate Engineer 2027”, which suggests a full-time entry-level position for the 2027 batch. The page we have does not spell out the exact employment terms, so confirm inside Superset.
Can I check eligibility without applying? The checklist appears on the job profile page after you register. You see your result before you decide to apply.
