Coupang Role Overview:

We are seeking motivated last semester students and 2026 graduates who are ready to launch their careers. This internship is for you if you want to create online applications driven by generative AI and huge data to close the gap between academic theory and practical technology.
Learn & Develop Web Apps: Collaborate with senior mentors to design, create, and test features for customer-facing apps or internal tools.
Prototype and integrate intelligent, AI-driven features into apps with Prompt Engineering and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Handle Real Data: Assist in writing the scripts required to arrange, clean, and process the enormous datasets that drive our web applications and AI research.
Collaborate and come up with ideas: Participate in agile team meetings, come up with ideas, and present your internship project to tech leadership.
Write Clean Code: Focus on writing clear, well-documented code while learning industry best practices for unit testing and code reviews.

Coupang Key Responsbilites Important:

Candidates who graduated in earlier years should not apply. Candidates with backlogs or unfinished courses should not apply. Candidates without the Consolidated Marksheet or Provisional degree certificate should not apply. Right now, we use a mixed work model where you have to work from the office for 3 days each week.

Crucial Skills:

Education: Currently pursuing a B.E., B.Tech., or M.Tech in information technology, computer science, or a related field (AI/ML, cyber security, etc.) (no prior full-time corporate experience required).
Programming Fundamentals: A strong coding foundation in one of the modern programming languages, such Python, Java, GO, etc., together with an understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Academic CS Foundations:
A firm grasp of data structures, algorithms, and the fundamentals of object-oriented programming (OOP). Database Fundamentals:
Writing SQL queries and having a fundamental understanding of databases. Eagerness to Learn:
The ability to pick up new frameworks quickly and a strong desire to explore new tech stacks.

Preferred Competencies:

Familiarity with cloud computing systems like AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as Hugging Face or LangChain. exposure to MLOps and production-use of machine learning models.

Coupang Qualification:

Academic projects, hackathon experience, or self-study programs integrating OpenAI APIs, LangChain, or creating basic chatbots are examples of Gen-AI Curiosity. Modern Web Frameworks: Basic practical knowledge of backend frameworks like Django/FastAPI or frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js. Developer Tools: Knowledge of Docker or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and familiarity with Git/GitHub for version management. A GitHub profile that highlights one’s own little projects, coding challenges, or open-source contributions is called a project portfolio.
